Con un variado programa de actividades, que se llevarán a cabo a lo largo de todo el mes, la Municipalidad de Concordia y la Comisión de la Mujer, integrada por representantes de diversas instituciones, trabajarán en la revalorización del rol de las mujeres en la sociedad.
Como cada año, por decisión del Intendente de Concordia, Enrique Cresto se conformó una comisión especial que llevará adelante las distintas propuestas. Luego de diferentes reuniones se estableció un cronograma de eventos que se extenderá a lo largo de cuatro semanas.

El Ejecutivo decretó Asueto Administrativo en el ámbito de la Municipalidad, que alcanza a todas las empleadas mujeres, con el objetivo de facilitar su participación en los distintos eventos y actividades que se realizarán. Esta medida se vincula con una decisión similar tomada por municipios de distintas provincias del país.
