En Concordia se presentó el libro que cuenta la historia de Yésica Boop

La boxeadora doble campeona del mundo, Yésica «La Tuti» Bopp, junto a la periodista especializada Yésica Palmetta, presentaron en Concordia el libro «La Novia del Boxeo» biografía de la deportista nacida en Wilde y que tiene a Concordia como su segundo hogar.

El libro cuenta la historia de vida «La Tuti» Bopp y su historia arriba del cuadrilátero. «Yo la vi por primera vez en la pelea en el Luna Park, donde salió campeona. Luego mi hermano comenzó a ser parte de la selección y a entrenar en el Cenard, entonces la conocí personalmente, y le propuse esta idea», cuenta la periodista y autora del libro. Tras una larga investigación entrevistando a familiares y amigos, a boxeadores y a periodistas especializados como Carlos Principi y Carlos Irusta, entre otros, se concretó el libro que cuenta con el prólogo de La Tigresa Acuña.

Precisamente ellas dos, La Tigresa y La Tuti, son las dos primeras mujeres que lograron grandes títulos a nivel mundial abriendo el camino y marcando un rumbo para el boxeo femenino en Argentina. En el 2013, Yésica Bopp defendió su corona en Concordia y lo hizo con éxito en una gran velada que se disputó en el Gimnasio Capuchinos. La Tuti agradeció «al intendente Enrique Cresto, a Marcelo Cresto, al Mono Krunfli, a Nino Castellano y a todos los amigos de Concordia que siempre están pendientes de mi actividad y que colaboraron para poder cumplir este sueño», en referencia al libro. Luego, dijo que «me quedan dos años de actividad, así que estamos armando el calendario», y no descartó la posibilidad de volver a combatir en Concordia.

Como mensaje para los jóvenes que se inician en las actividades deportivas, los convocó a «no abandonar, a redoblar el esfuerzo y la entrega, la práctica, la constancia y la disciplina es fundamental, en éste y en todos los deportes».

Al finalizar la conferencia, el promotor boxístico y Presidente de la Comisión Municipal de Box, Sergio «Mono» Krunfli, expresó públicamente un deseo, que quizás se pueda concretar. «Vamos a hacer todo el esfuerzo para que el retiro de La Tuti sea en Concordia en una pelea con Débora Dionicius», adelantó públicamente Sergio Krunfli. «Vamos a trabajar fuertemente para lograr ese combate entre dos grandes boxeadoras y dos grandes amigas de Concordia, porque esta es una ciudad que ama este deporte», dijo Krunfli.

Acompañaron la presentación del libro el boxeador olímpico Leandro «Musculito» Blanc y el secretario de Deportes de la Municipalidad Marcelo Cresto, como así también el intendente Enrique Cresto. La presentación se realizó el día viernes, previo a la entrega de los Premios San Antonio de Padua, a la que La Tutti asistió e hizo entrega de las distinciones a los deportistas locales, noche en la que además recibió una distinción especial por su trayectoria.-
